Maharashtra Governor K Sankaranarayanan has received several representations and requests from various individuals and organizations, both in the search and against clemency for the 53-year-old actor.
Dutt has been ordered by the Supreme Court recently to return to prison to complete the five-year sentence in the case of explosions. But, as he has already served 18 months, would have to undergo imprisonment of three years and a half years.
"We all have faith in the judicial system. Believe it is not fair for me to say anything about that. But as someone who really considered special and loved just wish that the punishment becomes less. Know there are people who deserve this ... but all are reacting from a personal standpoint, "said Vidya.
"Sanju is very special to me. Always going to be there for him. Bless you", said on the sidelines of a ceremony held this weekend in Mumbai.
Meanwhile, Vidya is awaiting the release of 'Ghanchakkar' a comedy where he plays a Punjabi housewife high. The film directed by Rajkumar Gupta will see its opposite Emraan Hashmi.
"The promotions are good answer. Was a different experience for me, she is so strong. I felt that I will not be able to deliver dialogues with such intensity, but Rajkumar made me do it," he said.
The 34-year-old star will be seen next in Farhan Akhtar film opposite domestic production of Pritish Nandy 'Shaadi Ke Side Effects.
"The shooting is on and we are having fun. For the first time, I'm working with a writer, actor and musician (Farhan) is large holistic perspective of things.'s Fascinating to me," said Vidya.
